This dive site is quite obviously, a pinnacle dive found near Ko Yung Island and a wonderful place to go diving. This dive is highly recommended as a great place to see sharks and other pelagic fish as well as the amazing topography of pinnacle diving.
The pinnacle is quite deep and starts at about 36 meters making this a deep dive for experienced divers. The access to the dive site is by boat from the shore and visibility is around 10 meters. The visit is well worth it and divers will be treated with many pink and purple soft corals, some large sea whips, and whip corals.
The ocean life here is fantastic with divers commonly seeing leopard sharks and blacktip reef sharks resting on the sandy bottom. Blue spotted stingrays are also common. Smaller fish and schools of reef fish can be found at shallower depths. One particular speciality of this dive site is black coral, which is quite rare. It often has white polyps on them making for a great contrast.
The currents here can get quite strong so divers should take care but as this site is fairly hard to reach; the site can be quite empty and makes for a relaxing beautiful dive. From the boat as well, it is very common to see dolphins curiously checking out dive boats and the divers.
