Peti dive site is located on the North side of Pulau Menjangan. It is a beautiful slope starting at 10 m with nice coral and a rich reef life. It is an easy dive site in Bali not too deep, perfect for beginners!

This is a lovely dive and it is one of the best dive sites in Bali. Often used for dive courses, it starts at about 10 meters and does not get much deeper. The coral is in great condition and divers will definitely enjoy this dive.

It is one of Bali’s most famous sites as many people come to learn how to dive at this site. The site is on Pulau Island (Pulau Menjangan) and is also a common place for people to come snorkeling. As a beginner diver, this is a fantastic place to come and learn, as you will also get to see a huge abundance of marine life, whilst learning in a calm dive spot.

The island itself is within a National Park – the Bali Barat, and this has meant that the protection of the reserve has allowed for fish and other marine life to flourish. The island is also sheltered from currents and high winds making it a very calm dive. The island also has the highest number of Gorgonian fans in Bali.

There is an extremely large amount of marine life to be found at this site including lionfish, batfish, anemone fish, triggerfish, moray ells and turtles. As the site is part of a protected area, divers and snorkelers can expect to see very high numbers of fish and great quality coral both hard and soft. It is common to see many nudibranchs and shrimps hiding amongst the gorgonian fans and other corals.

Peti dive site can be dived all year around and it has calm waters and good visibility throughout the year. The best times to visit have been said to be from April to November and in particular, from October to November, divers can expect visibility levels of up to 50 meters. The water can be quite full because it is such a popular beach and dive site, but the quality of the marine life, more than makes up for this.
