The Maldives are spectacular and consist of more than 7,000 low-lying coral islands in a 1,200 mile chain southeast of India. A thousand miles east of Kenya, close to the equator, the Seychelles offer a beautiful tropical vacation with modest to great diving. And then there is India with the famous Andaman Islands and little known but Laccadives.
