Lionfish. Date taken: 9/25/04 at 9:31 AM. Location: 40ft, Hilutangen Marine Reserve off the coast of Mactan Island, Republic of the Philippines.
Camera: Sony DSC V-1 in an Ikelite Housing.
"The photo is from the first set of underwater photos I ever took. This was the flash fill from my camera only with very little light from the surface due to the position of the sun. It was at around 65-70'. I
have recently added an external Ikelite strobe and don't think I could capture this image again if I tried. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!"
