The island, reef and mini caverns surrounding Tioman provide an active setting for divers to explore and sunken fishing wrecks, also prove to be ideal sanctuaries for groupers, sharks and eels.
For scuba divers, Tioman is the most accessible diving destination from Kuala Lumpur as there are direct flights to Tioman from Subang Airport. Alternatively, driving is a common option and takes 5 hours to get to Mersing, a coastal town where we transfer on to a speedboat to get to Tioman. There are also Tioman liveaboards going there on a frequent basis starting from Singapore.
Tioman and it’s surrounding cluster of islands offer good diving spots and is ideal for a short diving getaway. Providing flexibility and variety in accommodation, activities and food, Tioman is hard to beat in terms of value.

Clear sapphire blue waters that contain rich and colourful thriving corals support an eco-system that attracts marine life abundantly. Sharks, turtles and rays are common visitors to these waters and whale sharks migrate through these areas. Diving in general here is good and offers novices and experienced divers alike a dive experience to remember. Night diving here offers a selection of marine life that is divers and rarely seen normally.
Redang is accessible by speedboats and ferries from Merang and Kuala Terengganu. The boat ride takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Kuala Terengganu is about 7 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur but an advisable mode of transport is flying to Kuala Terengganu which takes 45 minutes from Kuala Lumpur.
Perhentian Island offers pristine white beaches and clear blue waters for divers and snorkellers alike.
Perhentian Island is located just 21 km off the coast of Terengganu State on the east coast of Malaysia and offers a splendid location for most sea sports activities. Clear blue waters and sandy white beaches that stretch along 2 main islands (Perhentian Besar & Perhentian Kecil) make up the lure and charm of the Perhentian Island.
Diving in Perhentian Island is easy and with depths averaging 30 m, conditions are ideal for all levels. Big pelagics such as whale sharks migrate through these waters. The reef here is also thriving and offers a variety of corals and smaller life form to view.
