Advanced & Speciality Courses

PADI ADVANCED COURSE

The advanced course is a PADI course that requires divers to go that one step further in understanding what Scuba Diving is all about. The tasks that are set out to be performed while diving do not detract from the enjoyment of the tour, but add a whole new range of possibilities to be enjoyed underwater.

During the advanced course, you will get an introduction to five specialities in the PADI system: Underwater Naturalist, Boat Diving, Underwater Navigation, Night Diving and Deep Diving. A fairly relaxed course, this focuses on the practical aspects of diving rather than theoretical classroom work.

DEEP DIVER SPECIALITY

This PADI speciality course requires the diver to already have an Advanced Diver certification. The course requires 4 specialised dives over 2 days, theory and exams.

UNDERWATER NAVIGATOR

Openwater qualification is required and the PADI course includes 3 specialised dives over 2 days with theory and exams. Course includes use of slates and compass.

MULTILEVEL DIVER

This PADI course also requires divers to have an Advanced Diving certification. The course is made up of 2 specialised dives over 2 days, with theory and exams. Tuition on tables, wheel and computer is part of this course.

UNDERWATER NATURALIST

Openwater qualification is a pre-requisite and this PADI course consists of 2 specialised dives over 2 days with theory and exams. Course includes an extensive Great Barrier Reef Marine Park info pack.
