Established in 1998, Visa Diving Center is the No.1 choice for scuba diving. We are a PADI 5 Star IDC Center. This means that our dive shop meets and exceeds the highest PADI quality and safety standards.

Located a few metres from the main pier in Ton Sai Bay, Koh Phi Phi, Thailand. We offer a variety of scuba diving trips and scuba certifications from fun diving in the local marine park in addition to Hin Daeng & Hin Muang, Koh Haa, to certifications from Open Water Scuba Diver all the way to Open Water Scuba Instructor.

Our main focus is our customers’ enjoyment and providing safe diving practices, well serviced and maintained scuba diving equipment whilst preserving the local coral reef.

We are a Go Pro operator and actively endorse PADI Project Aware, in addition to working closely in support of Green Fins, planning and participating in local cleanups both underwater and the local beaches in connection with The Phi Phi Diving Association.

For us, diving is not just a business, but a lifestyle and we’d like to keep it that way! Come join the Visa Dive Team and experience the tranquility and beauty of the underwater world!!

Diving in Koh Phi Phi

Koh Phi Phi’s dive sites are amongst the Top 10 diving destinations in the world. With no strong currents, warm water (30C) and friendly marine life it’s the perfect place to learn to dive and with the abundance and variety of marine life a great destination for fun dive!

Limestone cliffs jut dramatically out of the sea and plunge straight back down underwater, forming the colourful soft coral walls for which Phi Phi is famous.

The islands of Koh Phi Phi Don and Koh Phi Phi Ley lie in a National Marine Park in Krabi Province, so the marine life is extremely different to other scuba destinations in Thailand.

Fun Diving

Already have a diving license? Then Visa Diving has a variety of dive sites to tickle your fancy!

We offer daily dive trips to the local marine park, including Bida Nok, Bida Nai, Palong and Malong in addition to many more.

Just a 15-25 minute boat ride to our local marine park means that you can be in the water and diving with Hawksbill Turtles and Black Tip Reef Sharks in no time.

The local dive sites boast a fantastic variation of marine life, hard and soft coral gardens and visiting pelagic life, so if you’re lucky you may even spot Manta Rays and Whale Sharks.

We also offer regular trips to Hin Daeng & Hin Muang, Koh Haa and The King Cruiser Wreck, and at little over an hour away from Koh Phi Phi Don, we really have something for everyone!.. Whether you’re a newly certified diver or veteran, you will be hard pushed to find such diversity in one area!

If it’s been a while since you last dived then don’t worry Visa’s staff will have you up to date and back in the water in no time!

All it takes is a little refresh, we incorporate this into your fun diving trip so it won’t take anything away from your day and you’ll be wondering why you stayed out of the water so long!

Visa Diving Center offers a range of PADI certification courses from Open Water – Rescue Diver, and GO PRO options of Divemaster, Assistant Instructor and Open Water Instructor.

Alternatively, why not do a speciality course in the Adventure Dive of your choice!

E-Learning provides another way for you to begin independent study for the PADI Open Water course and many other PADI courses online. The theory portion covered in E-Learning for the PADI Open Water course is $120.

It’s the ideal option for people who don’t want to spend time in the classroom during their holiday. Although the dive theory is just a 1/3 of the PADI Open Water course lots of our customers are starting to use E-Learning so that they can arrive and get in the water immediately.

The first step in getting started with E-Learning is to click on the E-Learning banner on this page or our homepage; you will be taken to the Getting Started page which explains the PADI Open Water course and what’s involved and the course prerequisites and requirements.

You will then move onto the registration page where you will create an account, process payment and affiliate your E-Learning to Visa Diving Center. After which you will view a short tutorial explaining the program and its tools and functions and an introduction to the PADI Open Water course.

Upon completion you receive a congratulations email and asked to print out your E-Learning Record File to bring to the dive shop. When you arrive at the shop we will complete your paperwork and will ask you to complete a 20 question Quick Review Quiz after which you will be ready for your confined water training and the real fun begins!..

The PADI E-Learning Open Water Course is available in 7 languages: English, Spanish, German, Japanese, French, Dutch and Italian.

Visa Diving Center has instructors that speak the majority of these languages and will be available at anytime to help you via email or phone during your E-Learning experience.

What’s stopping you? Nothing!

Most of the instructors that have/do work for Visa Diving Center and around the world started out diving just for fun whilst they worked their normal 9 till 5 jobs, saving the joys of diving just for holidays and weekends!

Who say’s that this has to be the way? Why do you have to stay in the rat race doing a job you hate, saving for the future that’s not arrived yet and waiting till the weekend comes or the 2 week holiday until you get back in the water!

You can make a good living and save for the future whilst still doing something you love by becoming an Open Water Scuba instructor. The only thing stopping this is you!

Here at Visa Diving Center, our resident course director and international staff instructors conduct the most up to date PADI IDC’s in the industry. PADI’s courses are constantly evolving, so are our IDC’s.

Liveaboards offered by Visa Diving Center vary from budget to luxury and everything in between. Destinations can vary with offerings to the Similans or the Komodo Islands in Indonesia, look no further than Visa Diving Center.

Many of the boats have set times and several offer no limit to the time you can stay onboard, as they stay in the Similan National Park continuously for the diving season.
