This site translated into Thai means deep bay and is often used a dive training site for beginner divers. The site starts as a shallow sandy bottom and then gradually descends into a bay, which is much deeper and is great for divers to explore. The maximum depth only goes down to about 15 meters. The dive is very calm, the area tranquil, and there is enough variety in the marine life for divers of all experience to have an amazing dive.
The reef is very healthy and it fringes against the coastline. The sandy bottom has some scattered rocks making great hiding spots for different fish such as goby, mackerels, trevally, and barracuda.
The reef itself has many different types of fish and has many species of butterflyfish, parrotfish, damselfish, and wrasse. The site can sometimes host many juvenile sweetlips, Juvenile barracuda, and juvenile boxfish and so can sometimes resemble a fish nursery.
The coral also hides pipefish and seahorses which can be found amongst the soft coral and hard coral. Turtles can sometimes be seen as well and sharks are also reappearing with divers lucky to post white tip and black tip reef sharks. Macro divers will be kept happy as there are many nudibranchs here and it is easy to spot anemone crabs and many different types of anemone fish.
