It’s a bumpy ride entering Del Este National Park, accessible only by truck which was provided by the dive center.

Both of these fascinating caves are within 10 minutes of each other which makes the perfect day for a double tank.

Padre Nuestro, traversing down the natural stair case into the cavern below at the right moment of the day it fills with sunlight revealing all the hidden beauties this cave has to show us.

Depth 12m, air buddle 20min in filled with history and formations, continuing on through areas of restriction, shimmying over the shallow rocks and an enjoying all this cave has to offer.

El Chico, a little hidden gem, not a long dive but worth it, entrance appears to be nothing but a small wading pool however the small cracker in the far side drops down into one of the most decorated caves in the Dominican, stalactites and stalagmites, crystal clear waters leaving you with a sense of flying not diving.
