Finolhas is located in front of the Amilla Fushi luxury resort in Baa Atoll, The Maldives. It is well known as there is a very wide hole where you can swim through. It is such a nice experience to see all the marine creatures that were inhabiting this dive site.

The reef is illuminated in pastel shades of blue and yellow due to the rainbow colours of the soft corals that are mixing with the sun light.

It is a very adventurous drift dive as the current splits at one point in the middle of the reef, where you get completely driven by its flow.

The marine biodiversity that I found there is very interesting.

Frog fishes, leaf fishes and some special nudibranchs are always part of my dives, as well as larger predators in the deep blue.

I love the green sea turtles that are frequently swimming around.

Sea turtles are some or the most fascinating and friendly creatures living in the Ocean. They are threatened by the large amount of pollution in the sea, so a step towards turtle conservation needs to be made.
