This is another fantastic dive site in Koh Tao, and like other dive sites in the region it is made up of a topography based on granite boulders and rock formations. The highlights on this dive site in particular, are the many caves, crevices, and swim throughs and as a result, it is classified as a cave dive and should only be completed by advanced divers.
The maze that is created from the topography allows many different types of marine life to shelter and so divers can spend the dive searching amongst the caverns, caves, and swim throughs. There can sometimes be a strong current, which can be used to create a drift dive, and as this is around the many boulders, this should be only completed by advanced divers.
On the northern part of the dive, there is a sandy patch that is home to many titan triggerfish. They are joined by yellow margins that also use this site as a breeding ground. These fish can be quite aggressive when they are looking after their young so divers should take care in this area and approach the area with caution. Divers will also see groupers, reef sharks, Hawksbill turtles, blue spotted stingrays, and banded sea snakes.
