This is a lovely place for diving and snorkelling in Koh Phi Phi, and it is commonly rated in the top ten dive sites of the area. The site is quite shallow only going to about 12 meters in depth and so it is great for all level divers. It is located 200 meters from Long Beach on the western side and visibility can be around 5 meters. It is well known as a place to spot black tip reef sharks, which can be seen in large numbers here.
The coral has some lovely formations on the bottom of the seabed and this is where divers will find the majority of the marine life. There are some bommies, staghorn corals, brain corals, and various other hard corals that sit alongside the soft corals such as barrel sponges and sea fans.
Whilst the site is famous for being home to many black tip reef shark, divers will also be able to spot moray eels hiding in the many tunnels, nooks and crannies, and holes of the reef. Angelfish are common and other reef fish such as damselfish, surgeonfish, basslet fish, and snapper all join them. Occasionally, divers can spot a Napoleon Wrasse at this dive site.
