This is one of the most popular reef dives in Bali and is an extremely healthy dive site with great corals and a variety of marine life. The reef is a sloping reef that is covered in many spongers, mature corals, healthy hard corals, and vibrant soft corals. Divers will be able to spot a lot of macro life and so will have a great chance for some great underwater exploring.
This dive is relatively shallow only reaching around 20 metres as a maximum. There is a lot to see around the 3 metres mark and divers tend to hover around 5 to 10 metres. Beginner divers will find this a great spot to learn and it is also a good spot for refresher courses. The currents are only ever mild although at full moon they can perk up. Visibility is quite low and rarely gets above 10 metres.
There are a lot of different types of nudibranch to be found here and divers should be able to spot many different species. These are joined by blue spotted stingrays, butterflyfish, sea snakes, sweetlips, clownfish, anemone fish, snake eel, and moray eels. Divers should also be able to spot different types of reef shark and occasionally there will be turtles spotted on this site.
