A nice and easy drift dive and deep reef dive with depths from 5m to 40m, and excellent long range viz up to 50m making this the perfect site for macro, wide angle and close up photography. Reached in a quick 10 mins by speed boat from Layang Layang Resort, both beginners and expert divers can enjoy exploring here and the best months to visit are between February and October.

There are numerous amazing macro creatures like arrow crabs, clams, stem corals and flatworms hidden amongst the thousands of fabulous soft coral and hard coral formations on the reef, discover brilliant orange gorgonians, barrel sponges, sea fans, black coral and nudibranchs in dazzling colours.

Full of life here, you can see hundreds of reef fish such as wrasse, goatfish, fusiliers, colourful parrotfish, and pufferfish, and of course schools of barracudas, tuna and jacks as well as snappers, which give this site its name.

Take care to stay next to your dive guide and your buddy, or you may lose them while drifting in the rough currents around this spot. The current also attracts schools of big and hungry pelagic fish like hammerhead sharks, grey reef sharks and leopard sharks, so you can watch them hunting their prey!
