This is a challenging dive site in the Racha Yai area that is made up of many underwater boulders that are scattered across the ocean bottom. It is very similar to diving conditions in the Similan Islands as it has the classic boulder formations found in that area. This dive site is located in between Racha Yai and Racha Noi and this confluence brings with it very strong current conditions.
Like other sites in the area, the site is famous for its clear and deep blue water as well as the good coral conditions. The area is also home to many larger fish. The depths of the site go down to around 50 meters and there are some very strong currents in the area, which attract the larger pelagic fish. Because of these difficult conditions, only experienced divers should undertake this dive.
The boulders have been colonised by many purple and pink soft corals and are remarkably beautiful as they contrast with the dark blue water. It is possible to spot sharks and lots of schooling fish such as trevallies. Also common to spot here are turtles and groupers. Given the challenges to this dive, it is rarely dived so you can often have the dive spot to yourself.
