Bang Saphan is located on the coast of the Prachuap Khiri Khan province (Gulf ot Thailand) roughly bewteen Bangkok and Koh Tao.

Dive Season

Year round diving with preferred conditions between March and October.

Dive Sites

Koh Lam La-Hin Krut

  • 3-8m
  • Minimal current
  • Good reef displaying a healthy variety of hard corals and marine life.
  • Angel, banner and butterflyfish, cobia and nudibranchs are all well represented.

Ao Bo Thong Lang

  • 0-12m
  • Minimal current
  • Shore dive around hard coral boulders and rocky outcrops. Marine life includes, box and butterfly and clownfish, cobia, snappers, trevally, turtles and rays.

Koh Talu

  • 5-15m
  • Minimal current
  • Hard coral reef. With good selection of sting rays, turtles, queen fish, wrasse and blennies.

Koh Sang

  • 3-9m
  • Can be strong current
  • Limestone wall with anemone outcrops on the South side and coral reef on the north.
  • Box, clown and porcupine fish mix with a variety of stingrays.

Koh Sing

  • 3-9m
  • Minimal current
  • Emperor snapper and harlequin sweetlips, Pharaoh cuttlefish, groupers and fusiliers.
