Black Manta Liveaboard operates scuba diving trips to Komodo National Park as well as other well known dive areas of Indonesia including Raja Ampat, Alor, Ambon and the Banda Sea.
KM Black Manta was originally built in 2006 but her lower deck was completely renovated in 2011. Her 10 cabins are generously proportioned and will accommodate a maximum of 20 guests.

This steel-hulled scuba diving liveaboard is equipped with twin engines that will effortlessly cruise at between 9-10 knots to the best dive sites in Indonesia.
Dives are organised up to 4 times a day and night-dives are also available. Nitrox is available and she carries 10 sets of full dive gear.
The 14-man crew onboard the KM Black Manta are very experienced, friendly and hard working. Mike, the Dive Master has worked these waters for many years so you are guaranteed a good dive every time.
Black Manta issues each diver with a Sea-Safe personal radio beacon system, a tracking and location system, which is clipped to your BCD. Currents can be strong at certain times of the year in Indonesia so this extra safety precaution ensures that wherever you surface on the dive site, the dive tender will arrive promptly to pick you up.
The upper deck is where you’ll spend most of your time socialising. The air-conditioned saloon and adjoining indoor dining area is equipped with plenty of tables of chairs as well as a large plasma TV and entertainment system. Stored away below the TV you’ll find a library of movies, books and magazines for your use throughout your trip.
The outdoor dining area is at the rear of this deck and measures an impressive 7m x 8m and is a perfect place to relax.
On the top deck you’ll find a partially shaded sun deck with sun loungers and mattresses.

All cabins feature private en-suite bathroom facilities with hot water shower and individual climate control.
The family cabin is equipped with a double bed and twin bunks.
3 twin cabins and 2 double cabins are on the main deck; the larger cabin and 4 doubles are on the lower deck. Main deck cabins have windows whilst lower deck cabins have portholes.
Meals onboard are mainly Indonesian and international dishes which are served buffet-style in the main indoor dining area. Tea, Nespresso coffee, drinking chocolate and drinking water available, free of charge, 24-hours a day. Soft drinks, beers and wine are also for sale.
