The Blue Shark 2 allows up to 20 guests the chance to explore the pristine Maldivian dive sites from a well-established liveaboard. As the sister boat to Soleil 2, this 32 metre vessel is all about making the most of the azure waters below.

The Blue Shark 2 Liveaboard
The Blue Shark 2 has 10 air-conditioned cabins which are all en-suite for added privacy. The spacious sun deck is the ideal place to relax when on-board, and this area is equipped with comfortable loungers to make relaxation that much easier. There is also an air-conditioned saloon on-board the Blue Shark 2 which guests can use for socializing and entertainment.
The Blue Shark 2 explores the central atolls of the Maldives and can also travel as far as the remote northern and southern atolls where large pelagic life is prevalent. The vessel has a dive dhoni which is used to store equipment away from the main boat. There is also ample space to kit up and the dhoni allows divers to enter the water right above the many great dive spots. The crew on-board the Blue Shark 2 are an experienced group and will always go above and beyond to ensure guests have an enjoyable time aboard.
We travelled on the Blue Shark 2 and visited 10 of the southern atolls over the 14 nights.
The trip was fantastic and presented a wide variety of things to see, most divers including our group were very impressed.
We had the chance to see thresher sharks, spinner sharks and even manta rays which made for great underwater pictures.
