The Carpe Vita was a very enjoyable liveaboard experience and offered a jam-packed schedule for divers.

We had the opportunity to dive 21 times over the 6 day trip and many of the dives focused on what the majority of people want to see – the big and popular marine life like whale sharks, sharks and manta rays.

The trip occurred in December and sometimes the marine life just didn’t show and a few divers thought that the crew was slightly unprepared with diving alternatives in these cases.

Luckily there was an abundance of manta rays when it came time to do our night dive and this was really special for everyone.

I thought the entire experience was fantastic and would highly recommend it.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience onboard the Carpe Vita. Whilst some people might find that 21 dives across the 6 day itinerary is a bit much, there was plenty to see and I wouldn’t have changed a thing.

A major highlight for me was the manta ray experiences on the many night dives we got to do.

I also really liked the accommodation and the general common areas on board were very comfortable and pleasant.

Recommended for: Great cabins, great diving, and lots of diving opportunities.

The Carpe Vita is undoubtedly one of the best liveaboards we have stayed on. The chef served so much delicious food, we couldn’t choose, cabin was lovely, and the crew made us feel like family. Obviously the dives were the highlights, I can’t count how many species of marine life and pelagics we saw, and the guides were fun, yet very professional. Highly recommend to anyone.
