When a large-sized vessel is designed to cater to the needs of a small group of enthusiastic divers, the results can be very satisfactory. This is what has happened in the case of MY DAMAI I.

Built by the master craftsman Pak Hadji Baso, in Tanjung Bira in South Sulawesi, MY DAMAI I is a beauty to behold. It is a remarkable addition to the fleet of boats that is the pride of the Indonesian liveaboard diving industry.

MY DAMAI I has a length of 130’ (40 meters) and has 7 staterooms. The beam length is 26’ (more than 8 meters). The cabins are of varying sizes, starting from single cabins with an area of 18 sqm, to master cabins that are more than 40 sqm in size. There are two master cabins, the rest being twins and single cabins. All cabins have elegant furniture, en-suite bathrooms, and either king or queen sized beds. The three deck areas provide ample space for sunbathing, relaxing in the shade, or getting a spa or massage treatment according to the customer’s choice.

Since MY DAMAI I caters exclusively to divers, it has large dive stations and individual rinse tanks. The camera room is well-equipped with separate work stations for photographers. Work stations have an integrated 110v and 220v charging station. An attractive feature of MY DAMAI I is that there is one divemaster for just four customers. It is the first vessel in Indonesia to have a separate guide for so few divers.
