MY DAMAI II was constructed by Pak Hadji Baso, the highly sought-after boat-builder who had crafted MY DAMAI I also before that. This new offering from Dive Damai was also built in Tanjung Bira in South Sulawesi.

Damai II

The MY Damai II Liveaboard

The deck length of MY DAMAI II is 130’ (40 meters) and its beam length is nearly 30’ (9 meters) at the point where it is widest. Everything that is aesthetically and technically excellent in MY DAMAI I has been retained in this second vessel also. Besides that, many high-tech features that aid navigation and safety and make diving easier, have been incorporated into this one. Since MY DAMAI II is slightly larger than MY DAMAI I, we have been able to provide three spacious outside decks, provision for outdoor dining, ample space for relaxing and sunbathing, and also a spa and massage facility. We have been able to maintain the same crew-passenger ratio of our earlier vessel, together with the added comforts, to the fullest satisfaction of all our guests.

The cabins below the deck have the highest luxury standards and can accommodate both twin and single occupants. Each cabin has a queen-sized bed, an additional day bed, and a private shower. The cabins are about 225 sq.ft (20 sqm) and all are tastefully furnished and decorated. The staterooms in the stern are larger in size, being more than 400 sq.ft in area, and have a king-sized bed, en-suite shower, two desks, day beds, and a separate head.

The dive system is more well-organized and streamlined on MY DAMAI II. The rinse tanks, the dive station, and the camera room are larger, and two designer tender boats of high speed have been added. The well-liked system of providing one divemaster for four customers has been retained just as in MY DAMAI I.

The Damai II can host 14 guests across its 7 cabins which vary from 20 square metres to 40 square metres in size. Each of the cabins is individually air-conditioned and boast en-suite bathroom facilities. The boat provides a set of toiletries, hair dryer and desk and chairs for each room.

Cabins 1 – 4

The first 4 cabins can be found on the lower deck and are deluxe double rooms. Each room has a queen size bed with a comfortable day bed that is separate. The cabins all have a porthole.

Cabin 5

Also found on the boat’s lower deck, Cabin 5 is a master cabin complete with two desks, a king size bed and en-suite bathroom. Cabin 5 boasts its own private terrace with sun loungers and a number of portholes for light and views.

Cabin 6

Cabin 6 is a master cabin on the main deck. It has a king size bed and its own terrace with sun loungers and a comfortable sofa. The room features many portholes, en-suite bathroom facilities and two desks with desk chairs.

Cabin 7

Cabin 7 is on the boat’s upper deck and is a deluxe double room with large windows offering a sea view. The cabin has a double bed and boasts immediate access to the communal sun deck.
