Ideally suited for snorkelers or divers, this 25m catamaran will take you on a 2 night trip to experience as much of the outer area of the Great Barrier Reef as possible. The M/V Kangaroo Explorer is a completely hassle-free experience as it includes pick up and drop off at city accommodations and all diving equipment including a computer. Guests are transported to the Kangaroo Explorer via the M/V Sun Kist, and once on board will have the opportunity to dive 8 times during the day and twice at night during the short, 2-night itinerary. Diving sites included on this whirlwind tour include Elford, Thetford, Milln, Moore and Briggs and divers are guaranteed to see a wide variety of marine life and corals. There are also a number of wall dives and swim-through experiences to be enjoyed.

Designed with comfort in mind, the M/V Kangaroo accommodates a maximum of 36 guests across its 16 cabins. There are quad, double and twin configurations available, and all cabins come complete with en-suite facilities, air-conditioning and portholes to enjoy the view. Meals are included in the trip price and are served in the main deck’s indoor dining area alongside the licensed bar and lounge.

General Facilities

The main deck features an air-conditioned saloon area, complete with TV and DVD entertainment. A well-stocked bar and sundeck with plenty of seating so you can relax and enjoy a cold beer after your diving day.

Accommodation

Double Cabin (x6)

6 double cabins are located on the main deck and benefit from en-suite bathroom facilities and individually controlled air-conditioning. The double cabins also have large windows providing excellent ocean views.

Twin Cabin (x6)

5 twin cabins are located on the main deck and benefit from en-suite bathroom facilities and individually controlled air-conditioning. The cabins also have large windows providing excellent ocean views.

1 twin cabin is on the lower deck and features porthole windows.

Triple Cabin

Triple cabins are the one lower deck and feature porthole windows

Quad Cabin (x3)

3 quad cabins are on the lower deck and feature porthole windows

Menu

All meals are freshly prepared by the very capable onboard chef and meals are served buffet style.
