Operating between the months of October through May, the Manta Queen 5 will take up to 20 divers on its 3-night Koh Bon and Similan Islands trip each week. There are total of 10 air-conditioned cabins on board the Manta Queen 5, each with twin bunk bed arrangements and a total of 3 bathrooms to share between the cabins.
When not diving or exploring, guests can opt for a relaxing sun tan session on the vessel’s roof-top deck, or make use of the outdoor dining space to enjoy the scenery as the Manta Queen cruises by. All meals and snacks are included in the price and coffee, tea and water are available throughout the day for guests to help themselves.
Divers will visit famous sites such as Koh Bon Pinnacle, East of Eden, Christmas Point and Elephant Head Rock to name just a few. Not only will divers get to sample some of the best that Thailand has to offer, they’ll also have a wide variety of experiences from swim throughs to dramatic wall dives. For those certified to use it, Nitrox is readily available on board.
This trip was well worth the minimal cost involved, and definitely offered value for money.
Although it was only 3 nights, we got a lot out of it in terms of diving thanks to the professional dive crew. The surrounding scenery is just unbelievable, and it was great to hang out on the sun deck to take it all in.
I would highly recommend this liveaboard trip to others, especially if you’re looking to explore the Similan Islands in a short space of time.
