The Moonima offers divers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience all that the Maldives has to offer! This recently refurbished 30 metre liveaboard is the sister vessel to the Sachika and offers the ultimate experience of comfort for up to 16 guests.
Each of the 8 air-conditioned cabins has en-suite facilities and is sure to present the perfect place to rest in between scuba dives. The Moonima boasts a comfortable air-conditioned lounge area on the vessel’s main deck complete with comfortable seating, board games, a collection of books and an entertainment system. Guests have their choice of bar area to socialize and relax – there is a fully-stocked bar in the indoor lounge and there is also a corner bar on the second deck boasting superb views of the surroundings. Drinks on-board will include soft drinks and juices, local wines and beers and a selection of international liquors. Guests can also opt to spend time on either one of the vessel’s beautiful sundecks complete with comfortable sun beds and shaded spots to relax away from the sun’s rays.
Scuba divers are well catered for aboard the Moonima liveaboard and will conduct most of their dives from the vessel’s spacious diving dhoni. The Moonima cruise director is responsible for ensuring that you explore as many of the beautiful dive sites in the Maldives as possible which is why the trip plan is only finalized once guests are on-board. This added touch really adds to the experience, allowing guests to have their input when deciding on the exact route, but of course weather and sea conditions may affect the route during certain times of the year. The Moonima explores the central atolls of the Maldives as well as some of the northern spots which are not as frequently visited by other liveaboards.
The Moonima boasts 8 homely staterooms, each with their own private bathrooms, storage areas and air-conditioning.
