I visited Thailand in April and took a 5 night trip around the Similan Islands with the MV Similan Explorer.

The experience was fantastic and one that I would highly recommend.

My most memorable moment was seeing a number of massive manta rays right near us on several occasions. The diving was made extra memorable thanks to the great dive guides on board who were both patient and knowledgeable.

We were very impressed with the MV Similan Explorer and our only regret is not booking with them sooner.

From the moment we arrived we could tell it was going to be a great trip, and it turned out to be much better value than we’d hoped. The crew were kind, friendly and helpful and the food was delicious.

The diving around these very popular islands was well-worth the visit.

Recommended for: Great value for money
