Dive Facilities

Ocean Divine is equipped with a second vessel which carries all the diving equipment.  All dives are made from this 15m dive tender (dhoni) and, if necessary, a 6m dinghy is on hand to collect you as your surface from each dive.

The dhoni dive tender is fitted with on-board compressor so that your scuba cylinder is always filled at your designated tank bay. The dhoni is so convenient. So easy to go and come back from the dive site. Minimum fuss means you can spend more time diving with whale sharks, manta rays, turtles and colourful tropical reef fish as well as exploring breath-taking reef passes and coral formations.

General Facilities

The Ocean Divine bar is fully stocked with a wide range of wine, champagne, cognac, beers and spirits, all lavailable 24 hours a day.

The lounge is of beautiful Balinese theme and features elegant seating complimented with stylish artwork and fittings.  The main lounge area features a mahogany floor and large plasma TV for watching movies or playing video footage of the day

Accommodation consists of seven individually climate controlled cabins complete with a queen size bed and well appointed en-suite bathroom in each cabin. Each cabin is equipped with a plasma screen and DVD player.

Lunch is served buffet style and dinners are of gourmet standard.

Using fresh produce is key on Ocean Divine as we want to ensure our guests enjoy delicious and nutritious meals for the entire stay. We use local produce where we can including fish we purchase fresh from the markets or fish we catch during our trip, as well as fresh local coconuts and bananas. We also import fresh produce and ingredients from around the world every week from locations such as Australia, France, Brazil, South Africa and Sri Lanka.

Unlike other local surf and dive charter boats we provide you with varied dishes for every meal, ensuring a food experience you will never forget.

Just another reason why almost half of our guests return again and again for one of life’s incredible experiences.

Every meal is freshly prepared by our first class Chefs, with local delicacies and international dishes that will excite your tastebuds.

Razu has been with us since 8 years and be trained by our friend “François Conesa” who is an excellent cook. Razu has a lot of knowldedge especially for the finest cuisine from France and you will enjoy daily all his healthy meal.

Mahesh has arrived on board 3 years ago, as an Assistant of Razu and became also a big chef who has a lot of experience with European & Asian foods. He will make sure all your plates will be nicely decorated.

Having travelled to a few places in the Maldives before, I had no idea that I would be so blown away by the Ocean Divine crew and the memorable diving experiences they gave our group.

The dive guides were really informative and helpful and added so much value to each and every dive. The boat was also very comfortable with great meals and great views.

Our trip aboard the Ocean Divine was simply that – divine.

The spacious vessel was very comfortable and well-serviced and the views offered as we travelled from place to place were simply out of this world.

I would highly recommend this trip for those interested in diving, however some of the guests seemed to enjoy hanging out onboard just as much as beneath the water as the surrounding scenery really is that impressive.

Depends what you’re looking for. As a dive veteran of liveaboards, overall disappointing. 10 days of diving & only 25 dives with a max bottom time of 50 minutes. I’ve never had that on a liveaboard, plus no night dives. So in summary, we calculated 400 minutes less bottom time compared to other 10 night cruises. No camera room & requested not to charge in your room due to fires. Now if you’re a not so avid diver or with family or a partner who doesn’t dive this may be just fine for you. On the plus side, good food, nice crew & dive guides who do their best to make your stay comfortable. I wouldn’t consider this a proper liveaboard, more like a floating hotel which offers diving. I’d say 2/5 if you’re a serious diver. If you’re more interested in being on a boat in the sun & partying at night then you’d probably give it a 4/5.
