The Ocean Quest Liveaboard

There is a large lounge area on the wheelhouse deck with a bar where you can relax and kick back after a long days diving. The main deck has a large dining room capable of comfortably seating 48 passengers.

We have 17 exclusive moorings (not all shown here) on the Outer Great Barrier Reef at Norman, Saxon and Hastings reefs. We use a wide variety of these to ensure a minimal environmental impact to the pristine coral formations we visit.

Our dive sites are frequented by myriads of tropical and Palegic Fish, Rays, Turtles, (friendly) Sharks and the ever popular diver friendly Maori Wrasse. There are swim throughs, wall and drift dives that will appeal to every level of diver experience.

The dive sites are chosen on a daily basis by the vessel Captains for the best variety and visibility according to the weather conditions.

The Ocean Quest surpassed all our expectations when we travelled to Australia in March.

We did the 3 day, 2 night trip and thoroughly enjoyed it all. The diving was spectacular and the crew were fantastic.

I simply cannot fault any part of the experience – I only wish that we were able to stay for a longer trip.

Recommended for: Absolutely everything you could want from a liveaboard experience.

My 2-night stay on board the Ocean Quest was simply not enough – I wish I could have extended the trip to last another 5 nights!

The food was very impressive and the crew were really great.

I loved diving in Australian waters and find it such a shame that so many of the corals are being bleached because of global warming.

I hope to visit again many times over my lifetime.

Recommended for: A short but oh-so-sweet trip with fantastic diving
