The M/V Samambaia is a newly built traditional Indonesian phinisi that takes divers on exciting diving adventures in the waters of Indonesia. Offering comfort and a touch of luxury, this traditional wooden vessel accommodates up to 14 guests across its 7 cabins. Guest can opt to stay in one of the 6 lower deck cabins or the main deck Master cabin which boasts 180° views of the surrounding sea. All cabins, regardless of their location, are stylishly decorated and have individual climate control, en-suite facilities, and wardrobe storage space with additional storage space under the bed.

A crew of 18 professionals are onboard to assist guests with all aspects of their journey, including providing experiences and memories that are sure to last a lifetime. Guests are treated to freshly prepared meals each day, and the onboard chef ensures that the ingredients used are locally sourced. Freshly baked bread and a variety of pastries are also available.

Divers will have the chance to explore the Banda Sea, Komodo National Park, Alor and Raja Ampat. Both day and night dives are possible to make the most of the time spent in Indonesia.

When not exploring the underwater wonders that Indonesia has to offer, guests can take in the stunning scenery from the comfort of a sun lounger on the sun deck. For total relaxation, guests can opt to have a massage with the onboard masseuse. There are also a number of non-water activities to enjoy, such as walks along the scenic sandy beaches nearby, trekking and exhilarating trips through the many coves and lagoons. Guests may also be able to do some whale watching from the comfort of this luxurious liveaboard.

Pretty much everything was a highly on the Samambaia yacht. We had very knowledgeable dive guides who took us to see some of the best spots in Indonesia, and every dive was an adventure.

The atmosphere on board was great and everyone was very comfortable. We even got to see Komodo Dragons and massive fruit bats!

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Samambaia to any of my diving friends, or even to those who just enjoy snorkeling and seeing new beautiful places.
