Sea Safari VI operates 6 to 10-night liveaboard scuba diving safaris to Komodo National Park and Raja Ampat for some of the best diving in Indonesia.

She can accommodate a maximum of 20 diving guests in 10 en-suite cabins. This 35m liveaboard diving vessel is a traditional Phinisi Schooner with amenities over 4 decks.

Dive Facilities

The dive deck is positioned at the bow section of the main deck and features a camera table and 2 rinse tanks for your dive equipment.

General Facilities

The main deck features a spacious air-conditioned dining room. There is plenty of seating and a beautiful buffet counter and 24 hour tea and coffee making facilities. This indoor area is equipped with TV and DVD entertainment system, well stocked library of movies, books, novels and magazines. There are 2 double cabins to the rear of this deck, as well as the dive deck at the bow.

On the upper deck you’ll find the wheelhouse and a further 4 cabins. To the rear of the deck you’ll find a shaded bar area at the rear of the deck with comfy double sofas and coffee tables. Venture up a small flight of stairs to the open air sun-deck with wooden sun loungers and padded mattresses and also a bar. Uninterrupted 360 degree views of the Indonesian islands.

The top deck is for the sun worshippers. This partly shaded area is equipped with sun loungers and mattresses.

The lower deck is home to 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins, the engine room and crew sleeping quarters.


As the smallest of the legendary Sea Safari fleet, the Sea Safari 6 can accommodate up to 20 guests across its 10 cabins. Based in Komodo for half the year and Raja Ampat for the other half, guests have a choice of which itinerary to choose but are guaranteed to travel in comfort and style regardless of the itinerary.

Each of the 10 air-conditioned cabins has its own private bathroom with basin and hot shower. Guests can choose from the following cabins for their stay aboard the Sea Safari 6:

  • 4 deluxe double rooms located on the ship’s lower deck
  • 3 staterooms with double beds on the upper deck
  • 2 staterooms with double beds on the middle deck
  • 1 twin stateroom with 2 single beds on the upper deck
