This liveaboard has everything you need for a successful trip, including a comfortable salon that is air conditioned and lots of space to lounge in between dives.

Oddly named, the Junk has recently undergone a massive renovation and houses up to 18 people in modern, well-equipped air-conditioned cabins. The cabins are en-suite with hot water showers.

The lower deck double cabins have a comfortable double bed, but no portholes or windows.

2 Triple Cabins (Lower Deck)

Also on the lower deck, the triple cabins have 3 single beds arranged into bunk bed style. If required, these cabins can be converted into a private double room, but this will incur an additional fee. The rooms do not have a porthole or window.

2 Quad Cabins (Lower Deck)

The quad cabins have 4 single beds in bunk bed style. The room does not have a porthole or a window and can be used as a sharing twin occupancy cabin with an additional fee.

The Junk, despite its odd name, was a really comfortable and enjoyable trip.

I visited Thailand in April and decided on a whim to do a liveaboard trip, and I’m so glad I did. I was able to visit all the famous dive sites and have a great time relaxing in between while the boat travelled from place to place.

I traveled from Phuket to Khao Lak with The Junk and had a great time.

The other divers on board were friendly and welcoming, as were the crew members, and the conditions were simply awesome.

I saw loads of mantas as well as a giant school of barracuda which was really cool.
