The Painted Thorunna (Thorunna sp) is a tropical nudibranch species belongs to the colourful family of nudibranchs known as Chromodorididae. This species has been recorded from New South Wales in Australia and it is not known where else it occurs. It is likely that species is distributed throughout the waters of the western Pacific region. This species can be recognised by its pink/lilac coloured mantle and generally has two thin yellow stripes running down the length of its body. The mantle edge has a thin purple border that is sometimes broken up into small spots.
The Painted Thorunna Thorunna sp grows to a maximum length of approximately 3 cm.
