Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge is situated in Northern province of Rwanda, close to the endangered gorillas in their natural environment (Volcanoes National park).

In Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge, you have choice from 9 self contained rooms. each one has:

  • views of the valley year-round.

LE BAMBOU GORILLA LODGE is a convenient and affordable home away from your home to stay in the Virunga National Park entrance. Come with your family, live a home away from home. Our family cottage are equipped with all you can need; self-cooking, saloon, wardrobe made in bamboos,chairs made in bamboos,bathroom inside, TV and many more upon your need. Come and live our experience!

Ideally suited for families and honeymooners, LE BAMBOU GORILLA LODGE cottages are tastefully furnished hand made in bamboos. The secluded cottages offer one a sense of tranquility as the soft ambience of the rooms, color, luxurious fabrics and rich natural wood, takes you far from the stress of the outside world.

LE BAMBOU GORILLA LODGE Family cottage has one en-suite master bedroom with a king-sized bed for Parents and one Twin Bed self contained. There is ample space in the living room to spend time as a family and enjoy being in the VIRUNGA NATIONAL PARK, Dining room and private kitchen! There is even a mini fridge, tea and coffee services. Welocome to KARISOKE BAR, the bar at Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge. It is an excellent place for relation and refreshment after visiting volcanoes mountain gorillas. Enjoy A wide range of bottled Beers, Cocktails and non-alcoholic soft drinks are also available. Drinks are served every day from our inside bar and outside beer garden.

Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge can buy gorilla permits for any one who want it, so that it can’t take time here processing to get it.

Information

National geography

Rwanda, land of a thousand hills, offers many beautiful tourist attractions most within a two-hour drive from Kigali. Among them, the most popular attraction is the Volcanoes Mountains, home to the famous mountain’s Gorillas.

When touring through Akagera Park, you may see a range of wildlife including elephant, black hippopotamus, giraffes, zebras, water-buffalo, and the rare grey hornbill. Visit the lakeside town of Kibuye for a relaxing retreat with beaches, swimming and lakefront restaurants and hotels. Southern Province is where you can visit The National Museum of Rwanda, where you will see a beautifully presented collection of exhibits on Rwandan history and culture.

Nearby, Nyungwe Forest holds 13 primate species, 20-25% of the total number in Africa.Ruhengeri, another beautiful lakeside town, has long sandy beaches stretching across the shores of Lake Kivu with several quaint hotels along the water.
