Dabirahe @ Lembeh Hills Resort is an eco dive resort offering sophisticated luxury to the world’s most famous macro diving sites.
Lembeh Strait is considered the ‘critter capital’ of the marine world and Lembeh Hills Resort plays host to the divers who come from all over the world to dive, search, and photograph the astounding marine wealth of the area.
The villas are designed with care, with top class amenities and ensuring guest comfort to the fullest, but without in any way upsetting the ecological balance of the place.
There are 23 villas in all, of which two are deluxe suits which have become a byword for luxury in the area. The villas are built in a rather secluded part of the lush green hill looking out over a bay.
The pool is infinity-edged and offers picturesque views of the strait and the Lembeh Island across it. There is a submerged sunbed for bathers besides the dry one.
There are gym and spa facilities and spa center offers deep tissue massages and massages with herb-infused oils. The highly professional massage therapists take good care in ensuring full customer satisfaction.
The bar called Sky Bar, situated above the restaurant, caters perfectly to the needs of the divers by being ready with tea, coffee, juices, alcoholic beverages, and all types of cocktails.
Because of the abundance and biodiversity of the underwater fauna in the area, muck or macro diving is the main attraction. Besides arranging for diving facilities for guests, Lembeh Hills Resort and YOS Dive Lembeh together conduct seminars, workshops, and competitions on underwater photography and other marine life related subjects. Facilities for water sports and other pleasure activities are arranged for non-divers.
The resort is accessible at the end of a half an hour drive from Bitung town. Tangkoko National Park is quite near it, and YOS Dive Lembeh, which oversees the diving operations of the resort guests, is reachable by five minutes on foot. Sam Ratulangi International Airport is 90 minutes drive away from the resort.
