Lembeh Resort, nestling in the tropical gardens of Lembeh Island in North Sulawesi, is an upmarket resort that caters perfectly to the needs of the divers who come to dive in the surrounding waters. Diving can be an adrenaline-pumping adventure for some, but an easy sport for others. However, for optimum performance, it is essential to rest in comfort and replenish their energies after diving sessions.
The resort cottages are perched atop the Lembeh Strait, and offer splendid views in all directions. The cottages are 14 in number. Some are independent with separate verandahs, while some are twin units sharing a verandah. All rooms are well-furnished and air-conditioned, and have mini bars and coffee and tea making machines, and all bedrooms have double beds.
Experienced divers guide the resort’s guests, and the place has ample dive sites for everyone to learn diving, or photographing underwater life, or collecting specimens. There is a dive shop attached to the resort where all diving equipment including night torches and cameras can be rented. The shop has also got books related to diving. Near the dive shop is a lounge where divers can relax in wet suits in-between the dives and have refreshments.
The Camera Room is spacious with facilities for cleaning the diving equipments. At the Photo Center of the resort, they train novices in the use of cameras and camcorders, rent it for those who need it, repair it, and do digital imaging and get the photographs customized if necessary. Internet connection is available in a separate room with two work stations and extra plug points.
