KLM Cheng Ho liveaboard offers 7, 10, 14 night scuba diving trips to Komodo National Park in Indonesia. She spans an impressive 49 metres, has 3 decks, and can comfortably accommodate up to 24 guests in 13 modern cabins. She departs from Labuan Bajo on Flores Island.

This traditionally constructed Phinisi schooner is constructed from local woods and is one of the larger liveaboards in Indonesia.

Dive Facilities

Nitrox diving is available.

The spacious dive deck is located towards the bow section of the main deck and provides easy access to the dive tenders, from which your dives are made.

The tanks bays are positioned away from the edges of the deck giving ample room for setting up your dive gear and performing buddy checks before each dive.

General Facilities

This liveaboard is a firm favourite among guests and has incredible amenities distributed over her 3 decks.

The main deck offers a good size saloon / dining room and dive deck. The saloon is kitted out with exceptional amenities, including a camera station. 4 single cabins are located on this deck.

The upper deck is the bridge and a further 3 double cabins. There is also an outdoor seating area at the rear of the deck.

The sun-deck, as you’d expect, is the uppermost deck. This partly shaded area is a great place to relax and soak up some rays or maybe read a book. There are lots of sun loungers and mattresses for your use.

The lower deck features a fantastic cinema room and library. This deck is also reserved for 3 double cabins and 4 twin cabins, crew quarters, engine room and store.

The Cheng Ho can accommodate a total of 24 guests across its 14 cabins. Each air-conditioned cabin provides complete comfort, privacy and luxury with its own bathroom and plenty of storage space.

On-board the Cheng Ho, guests have the option of staying in the following cabins:

  • 4 single cabins on the main deck. Each has a big single bed and port window.
  • 4 twin cabins on the boat’s lower deck. Each has 2 single beds and a porthole.
  • 3 double cabins found on the lower deck. Each has a comfortable double bed and a porthole.
  • 3 double cabins on the ship’s upper deck. Each has a large double bed and port window.
